<>TAG vs. TodaysArt
Information Aesthetics
Following the enormous success of <>TAG’s March 2007 exhibition, featuring new work of designers LUST in the context of the monthlong Information Aesthetics Symposium, <>TAG continues on this path with a new exhibition and related symposium, parts of
which will take place during the TodaysArt Festival. Broadly speaking, information aesthetics refers to the different ways in which data or code can be translated into aesthetic images or sound and how the aesthetics can influence information flow or in some sense
give meaning or trigger emotions.

<>TAG participates in the TodaysArt Festival with an exhibition in the City Hall. The programme includes work by Karsten Schmidt, Spam Architecture by Alex Dragulescu, physical 3D data representations by Marius Watz, QuantaSonic, an audio-visual
representation by Voldemars Johansons and Tom Tlalim, work by Sieger Duinkerken, Globe 4d by Rick Companje, Nico van Dijk, Hanco Hogenbirk en Danica Mast and a multi-touch table by Arjen Klinkenberg of ID Studiolab TU Delft.
